Monday (18th Sept)
We had a class test for Management for the Pharmacist. Yes, it is done finally!!! It was such a great torture to me for memorizing the business environment, entrepreneurship, business laws and acts, marketing, promotional mix and etc…
Had a PSD session in the afternoon, and I made mistakes again in the station for oral contraceptives. Small mistakes I guess? Sigh…
Tuesday (19th Sept)
I went IMU in the early morning for the CNS workshop on Affective Disorders. I was wondering why there are so many workshops in this semester… Yup, I learnt something today- neologisms, as experienced by ZY. haha.
I went out with Dan as he is quite familiar with Kajang area. Thanks for his time for showing me the way to go DF Pharmacy for which I supposed to have a community pharmacy attachment there, soon.
Wednesday (20th Sept)
We had a PBL session I the early morning and it was my turn to be the leader. Yes, I’m the leader! (but there was nothing great) =p
I guess Dr. Yiap was so pissed-off since most of us were late for the visit. I feel embarrass to tell that I was one of them. This was solely because Dr. Pillappan “hold” me (and 3 other girls) in his room for more than half an hour.
The destination for the visit was Charoen Pokphand Jaya Farm (M) Sdn. Bhd. (feedmill division). Instead of saying that it was a “visit”, I would rather define it as a “tutorial” since we stayed in the conference room for two and half hours for their PowerPoint presentations. Not to deny that they actually provided us with a lot of information, for us to write a report at a later time.
Thanks god, we managed to visit the quality control lab and the warehouse after the lengthy “tutorial”. We took a group photo and back to IMU at 5pm.
The quality control lab.
The warehouse.
Group photo.
Rushed back to IMU at night since my group needed to compile the management project. It was great to see everyone was rushing things together, I guess this is what we called as “teamwork”? haha. Hereby, I would like to thank HP and LG for their great efforts in the management project as they did most of it. How lucky I am for choosing the right “hosts” to allow a “parasite” (me) to survive.
Thursday (21st Sept)
CW and I had a community pharmacy attachment at DF Pharmacy, Kajang. There are 2 pharmacists there, Jeff and Annie. Annie looked quite fierce at first, but later we found out that she is a very friendly and knowledgeable pharmacist. Well, we did not do much things there except measuring the blood pressure for the customers, observing what the pharmacist and other staffs do, and talking non-stop with each other. Guess what? I got summon again as I did not realize we actually need to pay for the parking (by using the ticket machine). I just didn’t see it. Damn!
DF Pharmacy.
Wow, CW looks so professional...
Friday (22nd Sept)
Hurray, the last day of attachment! We spent whole day completing our log book there with the help of Annie. After that, CW and I went to taste the Kajang Satay as he was so desperate to have it in his mouth.
Flupenthixol, i guess LG should take this?
Wow, Suki won in ONE IN A MILLION contest! But too bad, I did not manage to watch the whole show as a friend of mine called me up for a drink with her.*
( I have asked her permission to publish this in my blog)
Someone* (Hint: Hawaii, is that too obvious?) is now dating with a young guy. But later she found out this guy has two girlfriends. One of his girlfriends has another boyfriend too. Wow, complicated! But what may surprise you is that his girlfriend is very open-minded and she doesn’t mind if my friend wants to be that guy’s third girlfriend. Well, it did make my eyes and mouth opened WIDELY… Seriously!
