We had a class test on CNS (Central Nervous System) module. Damn, it was so tough!!! My brain remained producing no dominant waves for about 22 hours that day... Feeling exhausted.
Submitted the leaflet, which contributing 10% for Community Pharmacy module.
The topic for our group (May, YF, CF, PH and I) is "Atopic Eczema". The very nice layout is actually done by CF.
Tuesday (12th Sept)
We had a PSD session in the early morning and i thought it was not assessable at first. But from what LG told me, the station on oral contraceptives (OC) is contributing 2.5% (if i'm not mistaken). Shit! I met 4 simulated patients that day: a young lady who missed her OC, an old woman who did not know how to use the insulin devices, a diabetic man with ulcer on his foot, and a very friendly epileptic patient who was prescribed with phenytoin.
This is how the PSD session looks like. The patients will be in the room, and we will have 5 minutes to prepare beforehand. Anyway, this was the first time we put our white coat on (in this semester) as we have no more practicals.
Rushed back home to prepare for the PBL session on Wed. Thanks to Amelia for her "Diabetes for Dummies", i managed to get my things done in a relatively short period of time.
Wednesday (13th Sept)
We had a PBL session in the morning, and i arrived on time! I presented a topic on "Exercise Plan for Diabetics".
Dan kept sms-ing me and asked me to check out the SE M600i for him. I guess he is going to buy that phone soon...
SE M600i: Front and back.
In white colour.
Spending whole night to do the management project. My task is to design the logo, and to draw the interior layout of the pharmacy. (For review on Thu)
The logo (copyright protected). You guys know what? Guys are less creative (trying to find excuses)... But i think it is not that bad right?
Thursday (14th Sept)
Portfolios KILLS!!! Spending whole night completing my the portfolios... *Exhausted*
Friday (15th Sept)
A million thanks to LG for his kind deed of coming to my house, to make sure i have all the notes for the test on monday.
Went IMU and submitted the portfolios to AAD *feel so RELIEVED*, and had lunch with YW at canteen.
Headed home and having a sweet short nap. Out of sudden, my handphone rang and it was Shan who called. Her car broke down and she was in the middle of the road! The activity of my sympathetic outflow increased that time, and all my sleepiness were gone. I went to an adjacent petrol station to get her the petrol and then drove the Tasik Selatan (where her car broke down). It was so damn jammed, and i got her call telling me that someone had helped her out. She arrived home safely and i got a sms from her at night.
Instead of get caught in the traffic jam during the rush hour, i headed to IMU to look for CW, YW, and ZY. We had dinner at Leo's Cafe. After that, I had a very long conversation with YW, regarding "to-let-it-go-or-not".
I have been scolded by an uneducated old malay woman for no reasons when i passed by her tent (or whatever you call that) which was set up for kenduri, on the way i was walking back home. Barbarians!!!
Caller : Hello, can I speak to Annie Wan? (ĂŠanyone)
Operator : Yes, you can speak to me.
Caller: No, I want to speak to Annie Wan!
Operator: You are talking to someone! Who is this?
Caller: I'm Sam Wan (someone). And I need to talk to Annie Wan! It's urgent.
Operator: I know you are someone and you want to talk to anyone! But what's this urgent matter about?
Caller: Well... just tell my sister Annie Wan that our brother Noel Wan (no one) was involved in an accident. Noel Wan got injured and now Noel Wan is being sent to the hospital. Right now, Avery Wan (everyone) is on his way to the hospital.
Operator: Look if no one was injured and no one was sent to the hospital, then the accident isn't an urgent matter! You may find this hilarious but I don't have time for this!
Caller: You are so rude! Who are you?
Operator: I'm Saw Lee. (sorry)
Caller: Yes! You should be sorry. Now give me your name!!
