Hong Kong Trip (26th - 30th June)!

First of all, I would like express my greatest gratitude to Aunt Yoke Thye as she fully-sponsored me for this HK trip. Here’s a BIG THANK YOU!

To be more precise, it was actually Hong Kong & Shen Zhen trip. Well, HK is nice but it was raining everyday! Our best companion of the day would be our own umbrellas… =P

Day 0 – Li Guo, Zhi Yang and I took the KTM train from KL to Butterworth in order to meet Yen Wei… It was a 10 hours journey and I couldn’t sleep well in the train…

Train ticket.

Day 1 - Headed to Penang airport to take flight to Singapore for transit to HK.

Reached Butterworth KTM station at 6am.

Our luggages, at Penang airport.

Groupie pic at Singapore Changi airport.

As usual, Mr. Self-Obsessed-Lim spent "hours" in toilet for his hair.

We finally reached HK at around 5pm.

Had our dinner at LiYuMen Seafood.

Night tour to Victoria Peak for the breathtaking views of the famous Victoria Harbour.

We were at Golden Bauhinia and Victoria Harbour(?).

At Avenue of Star.

Had a walk at Lady Street before headed back to hotel.

Guys without “make-ups” in hotel room.

Day 2 – We had HK Dim Sum as our breakfast before heading to Repulse Bay for the panoramic view of the most high-class residential areas in HK.

At one of the temples at Repulse Bay.

Jackie Chan stays at the superb-high-class residential area behind us!

Went Aberdeen Fishing Village and took a ride on this low-speed boat. The ride is not free. You need to pay HK$ 55 per ride.

Jumbo Floating Restaurant.

Zhi Yang and Yen Wei in front of Uncle Lee's luxurious boat.

At WongDaiXin Temple.

At Ocean Park. We were on the rush and that was why we only spent around 2 hours at Ocean Park. Sigh…

From L - R: Our tour guide, Alice (gal in light blue), Zhi Yang, Li Guo, Me, Yen Wei, June & her mother(?), Wai Ling & her mother.

At Atoll Reef.

Dolphins and sea lions.

Had roasted geese, one of the main meals for our dinner.

After dinner, we took train to Shen Zhen.

Day 3 – After breakfast, we went to YuBaoGuan.

YuBaoGuan.

We had lunch at a restaurant. I wonder why the waitress dressed up like a bride.

Headed to Splendid Of China – the world’s largest miniature theme park highlighting popular historial sites and sceneries in China.

The diversified forms of ethic lifestyle, folk art and architecture from different regions of China, at China Folk Cultural Villages.

We watched the cultural show of China. It was magnificent!

At night, we did some shopping at DongGuan where everyone was so afraid of the pickpockets and became extremely alert.

Day 4 – We returned to HK by train after we had breakfast.

And… we were at Disneyland! Guess we were too old to go Disneyland. LOL.

Festivals of Lion King.

At Tarzan's tree house.

I spent HK$60 for the lunch... Damn expensive!

Parade, where they kept shooting water and made everyone of us wet!

Now you see why i said we were too old for Disneyland?

A magnificent fireworks show.

Not forget to do some last-minute shopping at Lady Street at night.

Day 5 – We headed to HK airport after breakfast. Time to say good bye to HK!

At HK airport. Can you spot Mr. Self-Obsessed Lim in the picture?

In Singapore airline's flight. Goodbye Hong Kong!

We reached Penang at 9pm and we stayed at YW’s place for a night. At night, we had some drinks at TAO lounge bar.

Day 6 – In the moring, YW brought us for breakfast and showed us his new mansion, before we took bus to go back to KL, my beloved hometown!

Souvenoirs!!!
