I got this shocking news this morning.
陈健伟, Chin Kien Wai (a.k.a. CK) - my primary and secondary school classmate, has passed away few days back, at A’Famosa Water Park (if I’m not mistaken). From what I have been told, his leg was stuck in the ‘wave generator’ and so he was drowned under water. How sad was that? He was the only son in his family… What such a heart-breaking news to his family and friends? Sigh… life is really (really) fragile and unpredictable somehow…
REST IN PEACE, CK…

Did you know?
The Irish Sea is the most radioactively contaminated in the world?
Windscale/Sellafield nuclear reprocessing involves discharging 96 per cent of all British radioactive marine discharges or roughly the same as all other installations in the world put together?
British Nuclear Fuels do not dispute that their dumping causes two to three fatal cancers, two to three non-fatal cancers, two to three genetic defects and two to three non-genetic defects for every year of their operation? Many scientists believe these figures are too low by a factor of 10 or a 100.
The only known cause of childhood leukaemia is radiation?
Researchers have not been able to isolate an amount of plutonium small enough not to cause cancer?
Scientists estimate the 0.5 rem (measure of radioactivity) maximum permissible radiation dose for the public is comparable to smoking 14 cigarettes a day. The maximum permissible dose to a nuclear worker at Windscale is ten times this, or 140 cigarettes a day?
The US has a radiation dose limit for the public 20 times stricter than that in the UK?
I just hate Toxicology project, it really ruined my new year mood! I have been sitting in front of my laptop for hours and yet couldn’t find anything useful for my project. Darn! DEADLY radiation pollution…

The guy we missed for months- CW is back, finally! We have spent one whole afternoon with him after our lectures in the morning. We (especially Mr. Rate-limiting Step) felt so sorry to him as he almost missed his bus back to Kluang, due to some unforeseen reasons… (Guess I’ll get killed if I post the reasons here?)
Some photos…

Watson’s lucky dolls are now one of the greatest hits in town! Strongly recommend it as a small gift for Valentine’s Day (especially if you have limited budget)… Well, around half of the people I know are now desperately collecting the whole set. Yup, both gals and guy…
Got it from someone… =) 7 new members to my key-chains collection.
I JUST LOVE KEY-CHAINS!!!

Hoe saloon? Yup, we cut our hair at CH’s house!
Anderson (the guy in red) cut hair for us! He is currently a senior stylist in one of the saloons at PJ…
Phik Jin (CH’s girlfriend), Ben, Me, and MJ were the “victims”. We were quite satisfied anyway…
No big changes to my hair, just make it a little bit shorter. New Year is coming ma, I don't really dare to try something which is sooooo different.
Safe journey to MJ who is leaving to Moscow for his new semester. All the best in your studies! Till then…
